Yesterday I did something I've never done before, I sewed this entire quilt in one day. Of course I had already spent hours cutting jeans and flannel and I did have to have my mom babysit the entire day (thanks tons mom!) but I sewed the whole thing in 8 hours! And its not really even half done because it's a rag quilt and I still need to clip 256 or so seams. It will be done before Greg starts hunting, because it's for him (hence the manly colors and elk flannel you can't see in this picture)! When you're a mother it feels good to accomplish a task that can't be undone.....that's what sewing does for me. I love it!
